The new player is midfielder Ezequiel Fernandes, who previously played for Al-Qadisiyah club. This information was provided on Bayer club's official website.

The German club signed a five-year contract with the Argentine footballer. According to media reports, Bayer paid Al-Qadisiyah 30 million euros for Fernandes' transfer.

Last season, the 23-year-old player appeared in 37 matches for Saudi Arabia's Al-Qadisiyah team, scoring one goal and providing four assists. After two rounds of the German championship, Bayer is in 12th place in the league table with one point.

The team is striving to achieve better results in upcoming matches.
