AEK team signed former Liverpool footballer

The AEK football club of Athens has signed a contract with Serbian midfielder Marko Grujic. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

This information was provided by the press service of the Greek team. The contract with Marko is for one year, after which it can be automatically extended for another two years.

Marko Grujic is 29 years old. His last club was Portugal's "Porto".

He played for the "Dragons" for three years. During his previous career, he played for teams such as "Crvena Zvezda" as a youth player, "Liverpool", "Hertha", "Cardiff", and others.

Marko was under contract with "Liverpool" from 2016 to 2022. His main playing position is central defensive midfielder.

Since last summer, the head coach of AEK has also been Serbian Marko Nikolić. The club management and coaching staff hope that the addition of the new player will further strengthen their game.

Marko Grujic's experience and skills on the field will be of great importance to AEK.
