Two foreign players may leave the Spartak team soon. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
These are defender Alexis Duarte and attacking midfielder Jesus Medina. Renowned former player Aleksandr Mostovoy commented on this matter.
According to Mostovoy, Duarte played in the main lineup and the player himself may have wanted to leave Spartak. The former Celta player described this decision as unexpected.
There is also a possibility of Medina leaving. The Spartak team is freeing up the payroll to raise funds for purchasing new players, Mostovoy said in an interview with Sport-Express.
Currently, Spartak has played seven matches in the Premier League this season and is in sixth place in the standings with 11 points. The team is five points behind the leader Krasnodar.
The team’s head coach Dejan Stankovic is trying to improve the season under his leadership.
