Skouls: Donnarumma is not Manchester City goalkeeper

Former England national team and Manchester United player Paul Scholes commented on Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma's transfer to Manchester City. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Scholes, this transfer was a strange decision for Pep Guardiola. He considers Donnarumma a good goalkeeper and would have invited him to Manchester United.

However, Guardiola wants the goalkeeper to play almost like a defensive midfielder on the field, but Donnarumma is not good with his feet. For this reason, Scholes believes Luis Enrique decided to remove him from the team.

He does not see Donnarumma as a goalkeeper at Manchester City. The 26-year-old Italian Gianluigi Donnarumma transferred from PSG to Manchester City on September 2.

He signed a long-term contract valid until mid-2030. This transfer signifies important changes for the teams, and it will be interesting to see what results come in the future.
