Igor Vuyachich, defender of the Kazan-based “Rubin” team, called forward Mirlind Daku one of the best players in the Russian Premier League (RPL). This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In the 2025/2026 season, Daku played a total of ten matches in the RPL and Russian Cup, scoring seven goals and providing one assist. According to Vuyachich, Daku demonstrates his high skill level from game to game.
Currently, the existing contract between Rubin and Daku is valid until June 30, 2029. The 27-year-old forward's market value is eight million euros.
In the summer of 2025, Saint Petersburg’s “Zenit” club tried to purchase Daku, but due to the player's sensational reputation following the 2024 European Championship, this plan was canceled. Thus, Mirlind Daku continues to prove himself in Russian football and remains an important player for his team.
