Kirill Glebov, a young forward of Moscow CSKA team, spoke about the difference between the team's former two head coaches Vladimir Fedotov and Marko Nikolich. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Glebov, under Marko Nikolich, he always knew he would get opportunities whether he played or not, and the coach always supported him. This gave him great confidence.
On the contrary, during Vladimir Fedotov's tenure, such confidence was less. The Sport24 publication quotes Glebov's words.
CSKA played the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons under Fedotov's leadership. Nikolich was the head coach in the 2024/25 season, but in the summer, the Serbian coach left the team and moved to the Athens AEK club.
He was replaced by Fabio Celestini, who regularly gives the young player Glebov the opportunity to play. In this way, the team is focusing on young players and creating conditions for their development.
