Former Barcelona and France national team footballer Samuel Umtiti is planning to end his career. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

During the last season, Umtiti did not play in any matches for Lille because he underwent surgery twice. Currently, the player has not been able to find a suitable club and intends to end his career by September 10.

The existing offers do not suit him. The 31-year-old defender has won the La Liga championship twice.

In 2018, he became a World Cup champion as part of the France national team. He is currently a free agent.
