Yamaguchi: Ronaldo is not at the current level

Sports23:09, 07-09-2025

Yui Tebo-Yamaguchi, goalkeeper of Japan's Kawasaki Frontale club, shared his thoughts on his team's victory in the AFC Champions League semi-final. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, the opponent facing Kawasaki was Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr club. This team features the famous Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

The match ended with a score of 3:2. As Yui Tebo-Yamaguchi emphasized, preparing to play against such a legendary footballer is different, but on the field, he is just an ordinary player like the others.

He stated that Cristiano Ronaldo is not the same as he was ten years ago. In the final, Kawasaki Frontale will face Saudi Arabia's Al-Ahli club.

The game will take place on May 3. Al-Ahli became Asian champions in 1986 and 2012, while Kawasaki has never advanced beyond the quarter-finals before.

This final will be an important and exciting contest for both teams.
