Fenerbahce is looking for a new coach instead of Mourinho

The Turkish club "Fenerbahce" has chosen a suitable candidate to replace head coach Jose Mourinho after his resignation. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

This was reported by 343 Digital. Mourinho left because he was unable to lead the team to the main stage of the UEFA Champions League and lost to "Benfica".

According to sources, the top candidate to offer "Fenerbahce" is currently the head coach of "Stuttgart", Sebastian Hoeness. Hoeness has been working at "Stuttgart" since 2023.

So far, there is no clear information about his readiness to change teams. Other options mentioned include Ismail Kartal, who previously worked with the club, Roger Schmidt, who managed "Benfica", and Edin Terzic, who left "Borussia Dortmund".

Schmidt, however, has not expressed enthusiasm for accepting this position. Therefore, the "Fenerbahce" management has not yet made a final decision.

The process of selecting a new coach for the team's future activities is ongoing.
