The German Football Association head, Hans-Joachim Watzke, announced that Bundesliga matches will not be held outside Germany. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In recent years, other major European leagues, such as those in Spain and Italy, have increasingly held league matches abroad due to commercial interests. However, Watzke emphasized that this will not happen in Germany.
According to him, during his tenure responsible for German football, official matches will not be played outside Germany, and there is no need to discuss this matter. Currently, two rounds have been played in the German league, with the current champion, Bayern Munich, leading the competition.
This decision aims to protect the traditional values of German football and ensure that matches take place in a national environment. It also allows football fans to watch high-quality games in their own country.
