Information has emerged that attacking midfielder Desire Due from the "PSG" team was substituted due to an injury sustained during the France national team’s match against Ukraine. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The player's recovery period is expected to be around 3-4 weeks. According to the L’Equipe publication, Due has been diagnosed with a calf muscle injury and will not be able to assist his team in the near future.
Additionally, another key player in the match against Ukraine, PSG’s forward Usman Dembele, was also injured and is expected to be out of action for approximately six weeks. Last season, the 20-year-old midfielder Desire Due played in 61 matches, scoring 16 goals and assisting 16 goals.
Currently, his team holds one of the leading positions in the French Ligue 1 championship, having accumulated 9 points. Thus, the injuries of these players pose a significant challenge for the team.
The team’s coaches and medical staff are taking all necessary measures to ensure the players’ speedy recovery.
