Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola considers the departure of the footballer from the team a mistake. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He expressed his opinion as follows: "I choose Jesus Navas. This is not the clearest option, but I think his leaving the team was premature.

He should have stayed with the team longer." Guardiola's words were cited by AS publication. Jesus Navas defended Manchester City's colors from 2013 to 2017.

Later, he returned to his homeland Spain to the Sevilla club. In December 2024, the footballer announced his retirement.
