The supercomputer Opta has identified the main favorite for the upcoming UEFA Champions League season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
It is the Liverpool team, whose chances of winning the trophy are estimated at 20.5 percent. In second place is Arsenal, with their chances around 16 percent.
The third place is held by the current Champions League winner PSG, with their chances at 12 percent. Following them are Manchester City, Barcelona, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich.
The supercomputer conducted approximately 10,000 simulations of the tournament. Based on these analyses, the teams' chances were determined.
It is worth noting that Liverpool became the English Premier League champion this season, leading ahead of London’s Arsenal team. This season, Dutchman Arne Slot worked as Liverpool’s head coach for the first time.
