According to Estadio Deportivo, citing the CaughtOffside source, Guardiola is interested in Real Madrid player Rodrigo. The coach believes that Rodrigo’s adaptability on the field and other positive qualities make him a good fit for his playing system.

Real Madrid is ready to negotiate over the Brazilian player if the offer is at least 80 million euros. This price is not a problem for Manchester City.

Rodrigo may consider changing teams in January if he gets limited playing time in Madrid during the first half of the season. Also, the Brazilian player is expected to turn 25 in the summer.
