Fenerbahce aims for the championship with Tedesco

The president of Turkey's "Fenerbahce" football club, Ali Koç, expressed confidence that the new head coach Domenico Tedesko will lead the team to become the national champion in the 2025/2026 season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, Tedesko will inspire the team with a new spirit and achieve high results. Previously, Tedesko replaced Jose Mourinho as the team's head coach.

Mourinho was dismissed due to failure to qualify for the main tournament of the Champions League. Ali Koç emphasized that Tedesko has great motivation to make "Fenerbahce" the champion and is pleased to work with him.

Additionally, the coach declined attractive offers from Italy, Germany, and Spain, preferring to work specifically with this club. Domenico Tedesko previously worked at Moscow's "Spartak" club in Russia and led the team to silver medals in the Russian Premier League.

After leaving Russia, he worked with Germany's "Leipzig" club and the Belgian national team. This experience further enhanced his coaching potential.
