Yamal injury may prevent participation in Barcelona trip

On Thursday, Barcelona will begin their participation in the Champions League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The team led by Hans-Dieter Flick will play an away match against Newcastle in England. According to current information, wing-back Lamine Yamal may not be able to assist the "blue-purple" team in England.

According to several sources, including ESPN, Yamal did not participate in Barcelona's general group training on Tuesday. He was at the base but trained separately.

Earlier, Lamine Yamal missed the La Liga match between Barcelona and Valencia due to a rib area issue. The match between Newcastle and Barcelona will start at 22:00 Moscow time on September 18.

The game will be available to follow via live text broadcast.
