
Portuguese specialist Ruben Amorim will receive a large compensation if he is dismissed from his position as head coach of Manchester United. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the Daily Mail, if Amorim is dismissed before November 11, the management of the "Red Devils" will have to pay him a penalty of 13.8 million euros. This clause is specified in the employment contract signed with the young specialist.
The 40-year-old Amorim was appointed head coach of Manchester United in November 2024 and signed a two-and-a-half-year contract. According to media reports, his annual salary amounts to 7.5 million euros.
Currently, after four rounds of the English Premier League competition, Manchester United is in 14th place with the team having accumulated four points. The team's results and coaching performance are so far not meeting expectations.
