Shmeyxel regrets the departure of Xyolunna

Sports04:29, 19-09-2025

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel commented on the departure of striker Rasmus Hyolunna from the English club during the summer transfer window. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He emphasized that this situation was one of the most regrettable events for him. According to Schmeichel, Hyolunna could have scored 25 goals for Manchester United during the season.

The problem was not with the player but with the team's playing style. Since the team's system did not suit him, he was unable to fully demonstrate his abilities.

Currently, Hyolunna has moved to Napoli on a loan basis with an option to buy. In Italy's Serie A championship, he has so far appeared in one match and scored his debut goal.

At present, Napoli is among the leaders in the Italian championship and is at the top of the table with 9 points. According to Schmeichel, Rasmus can continue to achieve high results in the future.

This transfer was an important step for the player's development.
