Arshavin: "Barcelona" does not meet RPL requirements

According to former midfielder Andrey Arshavin, Barcelona would not be able to play in the Russian Premier League (RPL) under the current conditions. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The expert emphasized that the Catalans do not meet the league regulations because their reserve field does not have sufficient spectator capacity. According to Arshavin, this situation shows the difficulty of strictly following football rules and the need for flexibility.

He stressed that Barcelona currently does not have the opportunity to play in the RPL. It should be noted that Barcelona is temporarily playing at the Johan Cruyff Stadium due to the reconstruction of the Camp Nou stadium.

This stadium has a capacity of 6,000 spectators. The main stadium's reconstruction was planned to be completed by September 10, but the work was not finished on time.

The club has been allowed to play at Camp Nou with a limited number of spectators, but the necessary documents are not yet ready.
