Dossena: Conte would not have agreed to Napoli 15 years ago

Sports06:28, 22-09-2025

Former Italy club Napoli player Andrea Dossena highlighted the team's rise in winning the championship twice in the last three years. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In his opinion, the team has become much stronger and more confident, which is why Antonio Conte agreed to become Napoli's head coach. According to Dossena, the current Napoli is recognized not only for its significance but also as one of the prestigious clubs.

For this reason, high-level players like De Bruyne are joining the team, and Conte is also accepting to manage this club. He also emphasized that acquiring players like Lukaku is a sign of Napoli's strengthening.

About fifteen years ago, Conte would have refused to become Napoli's head coach. Currently, Napoli has won the first three matches in Serie A in the new season.

These results are the outcome of the team's high level of preparation and collective changes. It is evident that Napoli has become a much stronger and more competitive club compared to previous years.
