The head coach of the Ufa team, Omari Tetradze, was unable to participate in the fourth round match of the Russian Cup Regions Path tournament due to poor health. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
This was announced after the match by the team's senior coach, Artur Shaybekov. According to Shaybekov, Omari Mikhailovich fell ill after the tournament in the city of Tula and, due to a fever, was unable to travel in order to avoid infecting others.
The match took place against the amateur club "Fankom" from the city of Kirov, and "Fankom" won in a penalty shootout after regular time. This team became the first amateur club in the tournament's history to advance to the fifth round.
Shaybekov cited the main reasons for Ufa's defeat as the failure to capitalize on opportunities and weaknesses in defense.
