According to the footballer, he has already begun learning some phrases through a special app and will hold his first session with the club's translator in the coming days. Christopher Vu said he started learning Russian using the Duolingo app.
He also planned to have his first lesson with the translator. It was emphasized that this is related to his desire to learn the language.
Vu joined Spartak in September 2025. He came as a free agent from the French club Rennes.
The contract between the 24-year-old Cameroonian footballer and the club is valid until June 30, 2029. His market value is estimated at around six million euros.
In the 2025/2026 season, Vu has appeared in four matches in the Russian Championship and Cup but has yet to record any effective performances. The player's joining the team and his eagerness to learn the language are considered important factors for his future success.
