Koke equalized with Ramos in the Madrid derby

Sports16:27, 27-09-2025

The main football match on Saturday in the Spanish championship will be the rivalry between the teams Atlético and Real. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

This game is highly regarded as the Madrid derby. For the captain of the "Colchoneros" team, Koke, this is the 43rd Madrid derby he has played.

In this regard, he matches the legendary footballer Sergio Ramos. Ramos is currently active in Mexico and has also participated in 43 Madrid derbies.

It is hard to say whether Koke remembers losing twice in the Champions League final, but he clearly recalls the victory over Real in the 2012 Spanish Cup final. That victory marked the beginning of Atlético's revival.

At that time, Diego Simeone took on the role of managing the team. Since then, Atlético returned to the field with new strength and improved their game.

The Madrid derby always generates great interest and is an important event for fans.
