Sarri refused to work in Saudi Arabia

Maurizio Sarri, the head coach of the Lazio team, shared his thoughts about the opportunity to work in the Saudi Arabian championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He said he does not want to work in the Saudi league and emphasized that he would not agree even if offered 18 million euros per year. Sarri stated that he could earn more than his current job, but he always follows the call of his heart, working not for money but out of passion for football.

He stressed that he is dedicated to football solely because of his interest and love for the game. Maurizio Sarri is 66 years old and was appointed head coach of Lazio in the summer of 2021.

Currently, under his leadership, the team is in 13th place with seven points after six rounds in Italy's Serie A championship. Sarri is striving to further develop the team and achieve higher results.
