Olivier Giroud sought advice on ending his career from Zlatan Ibrahimovich
«Lille» striker Olivier Giroud recalled discussing the matter of ending his career with Zlatan Ibrahimovich. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Recently, the French footballer turned 39 years old. In July of this year, after playing for two years in Los Angeles, United States, he returned to his homeland.

In an interview with L’Equipe, Giroud said that he talked about finishing his career with Zlatan during their time playing together at «Milan». Zlatan emphasized that without an inner fire, even if the body can still endure the physical demands, there is no point in playing.

Ibrahimovich retired in 2023, shortly before turning 42. Olivier Giroud's contract with «Lille» is set until mid-2026.

Thus, the footballer will continue his career and serve his team.
