Amorim responded to Retklif's idea of giving time

Sports18:23, 17-10-2025

Jim Ratcliffe, the owner of Manchester United, recently announced that head coach Ruben Amorim has been given three years to build a competitive team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The Portuguese specialist shared his thoughts on this matter. I feel that these words are not just ordinary talk.

I feel support every day. Sometimes I put even more pressure on myself and the team.

I understand that the process takes time, so it is pleasant to hear such words. I think the owner's words help the fans understand that the management needs time.

However, I do not like it because I do not want the club to have the mindset of "we have time to solve everything." We need to deliver results every week, just like other big clubs, Amorim said at a press conference.

Currently, Manchester United is in 10th place in the Premier League table.
