Yesterday, after the match between "Navbahor" and "Bukhara" held in the 7th round of the Super League, the guest team's head coach Ulug‘bek Bakayev announced that he had decided to resign from his position.

“Today we accepted our fourth consecutive defeat in the Super League. This situation is very painful and discouraging for me. We did everything we could — we put all our efforts for the fans, the players, and the club's honor. However, unfortunately, we could not achieve the desired result,” the specialist began his statement.

Bakayev also requested the club management to accept his resignation and expressed hope that they would understand this decision correctly.

“Now the 'Bukhara' team needs new blood, new ideas, and inspiring new energy. I ask the management to accept my resignation. I believe they will understand this decision correctly. I sincerely apologize to our fans as well. This situation is also worrying me. In the changing room, I told the players: regardless of who comes in my place, they must treat him with respect and responsibility,” Bakayev said.
