Conflict is escalating in the Middle East in the European American Union

Amid armed clashes in the Middle East, the alliance relations between Europe and the United States are being tested. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The details of this political chill are being closely examined. An unexpected division has emerged among Western countries.
Italy, Spain, and France are obstructing American aircraft participating in military operations in the Middle East. This situation not only complicates the regional situation but also negatively affects relations among transatlantic allies.
According to reports from Corriere della Sera and Reuters, last week the Italian government did not allow American bombers to land at the Sigonella airbase in Sicily. US military aircraft attempted to land at the base without prior permission, but this was prohibited by the swift decision of the Chief of the Italian General Staff and the Minister of Defense.
Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto emphasized on social media that there is no chill with the US, but the rules for using bases that have been in effect since 1954 must be strictly observed. At the same time, experts assess such actions as indicating Europe's concern about involvement in a regional war.
Additionally, France and Spain also did not allow American aircraft to use their airspace. Donald Trump harshly criticized France for not allowing military cargo destined for Israel to pass through its territory.
He called France an unreliable partner and stated he would remember such a situation. The Spanish government also closed its skies to American and Israeli aircraft.
Madrid announced it would only allow landings in emergency situations. In response, Trump threatened to cut trade relations with Spain.
Over the past month, Trump has accused European leaders and the British Prime Minister of not providing sufficient support in the war against Iran. Europe, on the other hand, emphasizes that Trump's military actions are causing the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and rising energy prices.
Dear readers, in your opinion, how will the position of European countries affect the United States' strategy in the Middle East? Could this disagreement among allies lead to a greater crisis?
These questions help to better understand the current political situation.
