Sergey Lebedev announced that he will file a complaint against the referees
After the match between “Olimpik” and “FarDU” (2:1) in the 5th round of the Pro League, the guest team's head coach Sergey Lebedev participated in a press conference, expressing sharp opinions not only about the team's performance but also about the refereeing activities.

“Good game, but the referees affected the result”

“Today's match was very interesting and intense. My players fought until the last minute. However, unfortunately, there are serious questions regarding the refereeing. I was completely dissatisfied with the decisions made.

In the first half, our goal scored from a corner kick was, in my opinion, absolutely legitimate, but it was not counted. I did not see any rule violation in that situation.

At the same time, there was an offside situation in “Olimpik”'s first goal. Such situations, unfortunately, overshadow the team's efforts.”

“No complaints about the players, it’s about the referees”

“I have no objections to my players. They tried to fulfill their assigned tasks.

One of our players was brought down in a one-on-one situation, and the referee said nothing. There was no whistle, the game continued. Such decisions seriously affect not only the team's morale but also the course of the game.

For this reason, we will officially file a complaint regarding the referees' performance. I believe this is necessary to restore justice in football.”

“Not a red card, but character deserves attention”

“Many might think that our team only started attacking after the second goal and the red card. However, we had created several opportunities before that.

The red card was shown close to the end of the game. Until then, the team was actively engaged.

But in the last minutes, we had nothing to lose. Therefore, everyone moved forward, more players participated in the attack, and only two defenders remained at the back. This indicates the team's thirst for victory.”

In conclusion...

Despite some of the refereeing decisions, the “FarDU” club tried to respond appropriately to the opponent and fought until the end on the field. Sergey Lebedev's open and firm statements reminded once again of the state of the team's internal environment and that the principle of justice in football is paramount.

What do you think — how do refereeing mistakes affect the results of football matches?
