"Pakhtakor" has changed its coach again: Pedro Moreira has left the team

The cooperation of the Portuguese head coach Pedru Moreyra with the "Paxtakor" team did not last long. The specialist parted ways with the club, and his duties will be temporarily taken over by the team's former coach Kamoliddin Tojiyev.

It should be noted that Pedru Moreyra took over the management of the "lions" on December 4 of last year. Under his leadership, the team played a total of 14 official matches. They won half of these games, that is, 7 matches, while they lost opportunities in the remaining seven games.

During his tenure, Moreyra tried to implement a modern style of play at the club, but the results were inconsistent and there was no stability. The team's results in the domestic championship may not have fully satisfied the management and fans. In turn, the Portuguese coach's first experience in Uzbek football also ended in a short period.

Currently, the "Paxtakor" management is busy searching for a new coach and is considering various options. The club is expected to announce the name of a new specialist in the near future.

For now, the task of temporarily managing the team has been entrusted to former head coach Kamoliddin Tojiyev. He has previously successfully managed "Paxtakor" and is considered one of the respected specialists within the club.
