El Mencho eliminated in Mexico, unrest intensifies

Reports have spread that one of the most dangerous criminals in Mexico, Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes — “El Mencho” has been eliminated. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

However, following this operation, aggressive retaliatory actions by the new generation cartel in Jalisco have been observed. Roads have been blocked in various areas, cars and trucks have been set on fire, and armed clashes have increased.
Security measures have been strengthened in the cities of Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta, with movement restricted on some routes and flights also suspended. State governor Pablo Lemus Navarro confirmed that the cartel acted against power structures.
Experts believe that a struggle for a new leader within the cartel may begin. This could lead to continued violence.
