Cloze: Messi or Mbappe can break my record

Former Germany national team striker Miroslav Klose stated that the goal record in the history of the World Cups may be broken in the coming years. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This information was reported by the euro-football.ru website. Klose participated in four World Cups during his career, scoring a total of 16 goals.
Among active players, the closest results to him have been recorded by Lionel Messi (13 goals) and Kylian Mbappe (12 goals). According to Klose, his record will be broken in the near future.
He predicts that Messi will achieve this result at the 2026 World Cup, while Mbappe may reach this milestone in 2026 or 2030. In his interview, Klose emphasized that he is a fan of Messi and wished him good luck in continuing his career.
Additionally, he highly praised Mbappe's talent and expressed his hope that both players remain healthy and play at their highest level. At the same time, Klose recalled his own achievements: he noted that he is the only player to have reached the semi-final stage of the World Cup four times.
It is known that Messi won the championship at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, Mbappe won with his national team in Russia in 2018, and Klose celebrated the World Cup victory with the Germany national team in Brazil in 2014.
