Kloze: My World Cup record could be broken

Former Germany national team striker Miroslav Klose said that he will not hold the record for the most goals scored in World Cup history for long. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was reported by euro-football.ru. Klose participated in four World Cups and managed to score a total of 16 goals.
Among currently active players, the closest figures belong to Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe. Messi has 13 goals, while Mbappe has 12.
"My World Cup goal record may be broken in the coming years. It is quite possible that Lionel Messi will achieve this in 2026, or Kylian Mbappe could do so in 2026 or 2030.
I have great respect for Messi, and if he continues his career, I wish him all the best. Mbappe also has incredible talent.
I hope both of them stay healthy and can fully demonstrate their abilities. For now, the best statistics belong to me, and I am the only player to have appeared in the World Cup semifinals four times," Klose said in an interview with Bild.
As a reminder, Messi won the championship with Argentina at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, Mbappe won with the France national team in Russia in 2018, and Klose was a World Cup champion with Germany in Brazil in 2014.
