Nodirbek and Javohir made history at “Tata Steel 2026”

From January 16 to February 1 this year, one of the most prestigious chess competitions in the world — the international “Tata Steel Chess 2026” tournament — was held in Wijk aan Zee, Netherlands. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This year's competition held special historical significance for Uzbekistan. Uzbek player Nodirbek Abdusattorov claimed the championship, while Javohir Sindarov took second place.
