James Milner sets Premier League appearance record

The match ended in a 0-1 defeat for Brighton. With this, Milner's total number of Premier League appearances reached 653.

This result equals the previous record set by Gareth Barry. James Milner has been playing for Brighton since 2023.

During his career, he has also played for Liverpool, Manchester City, Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Leeds. Milner's first game in the English championship took place in November 2002 with Leeds.
