Portuguese forward Ronaldo was expected to return to the squad soon. However, he will not participate in this match.

According to coach Jorge Jesus, due to a congested match schedule, it was decided to give rest to Ronaldo and several key players. He emphasized that there is an important match ahead against "Al-Fateh".
