Machey Ribus: The likelihood of a Russia-Poland match is very low

Former Poland national team player Maciej Rybus expressed doubt that a friendly match against Russia will take place in the near future. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was reported by the euro-football.ru publication. It has become known that Russia might hold matches against the national teams of Mali and Guatemala in March.
However, the Russian Football Union has not made any official statements regarding this. Maciej Rybus shared his opinion on the matter, emphasizing that the likelihood of Russia playing against Poland is very low.
According to him, Russia is currently organizing friendly matches with other teams. He mentioned this in an interview with the Metaratings publication.
It is also worth noting that the Russian Football Union is unable to participate in international competitions due to sanctions imposed by UEFA and FIFA. These restrictions came into effect four years ago and have not yet been lifted.
For this reason, the Russian national team is currently limited to only friendly matches.
