The match between Russia and Mali has not yet been confirmed

Yesterday, media outlets reported that the Russian national team might hold a friendly match against the Mali national team in the spring. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
However, so far the Russian Football Union has not officially confirmed this information. This was reported by the euro-football.ru website.
The head coach of the Mali national team, Tom Saintfiet, shared his thoughts regarding this match. According to him, although there is information about a friendly match against Russia, no official confirmation has been received yet.
According to the coach: "There are reports that there is a possibility of a match, but it is difficult to say anything definite at this time," his words were cited by the "Match TV" publication. Earlier, reports circulated that the friendly match between Russia and Mali might be held on March 27 in the city of Krasnodar.
It should be recalled that the Russian national team has only participated in friendly matches over the past four years due to sanctions imposed by UEFA and FIFA.
