Turki Al-Saed, a 16-year-old defender of the "Al-Qadisiya" football team, has passed away. The Saudi Arabian Football Federation issued an official statement and published an obituary in memory of the player.

This news was also confirmed by the euro-football.ru website. The "Al-Qadisiya" team participates in the second-tier league of Saudi Arabia and currently holds fourth place in the tournament table.

Italian forward Matteo Retegi also plays for this team. He previously played for Italy's "Atalanta" club.

The official cause of the young footballer's death has not yet been announced. However, according to unofficial information, this tragedy may have been caused by a road traffic accident.
