The conflict between Vinisius Junior and Prestianni is being investigated

The conflict that occurred during the UEFA Champions League match between Benfica and Real is being investigated by the organization. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Real player Vinisius Junior accused opposing team player Gianluca Prestianni of using racist insults. This was reported by euro-football.ru.
According to ESPN, Prestianni gave a statement to UEFA and denied the allegations against him. According to the Benfica player, he emphasized that he did not use the word "mono" (monkey) in Spanish, which can be interpreted as racist.
He claims that instead of this word, he said another similar-sounding word. Although this word is offensive, it does not have a racist meaning but is a term used for people with non-traditional sexual orientations.
During the conflict, Prestianni's mouth was covered with a shirt, making it almost impossible to read his lip movements. Therefore, experts are unable to draw a definite conclusion on this matter.
At the end of the match, Real defeated Benfica with a score of 1-0.
