Russia and Mali face each other on the field for the first time
Russian coach Valeriy Nepomnyashiy recalled his time working with the Cameroon national team and shared his thoughts about the friendly match between Russia and Mali. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The match is scheduled to take place on March 27. This was reported by euro-football.ru.

According to Nepomnyashiy, the Russian national team is currently forced to play against almost any opponent due to the current isolation conditions. Therefore, any team is considered acceptable for them.

He stated that he does not consider the Mali national team an absolute favorite, but emphasized that the game will be challenging. Additionally, the coach mentioned Senegal and Cameroon among the technically strong teams.

As national teams close to the English football style, he cited Ghana and Mali as examples. According to data, Mali is ranked 54th in the FIFA rankings, while Russia holds the 36th position.

It is worth noting that these two teams have never faced each other before.
