Fonseka: USA is not suitable for the World Championship

Former head coach of Donetsk's "Shakhtar" and "Milan" clubs, Paulo Fonseca, criticized the idea of holding the World Cup in the USA. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The "Euro-Football.ru" website reported on this. According to Fonseca, US President Donald Trump's policies neglect the most vulnerable groups and primarily prioritize personal interests.
According to the coach, Trump considers financial interests more than the interests of the people. For this reason, Fonseca does not consider the USA a suitable place for football competitions.
According to him, true football fans and people who sincerely love sports would find it appropriate to follow competitions in other countries. Fonseca believes that a championship held in the USA cannot reflect the true spirit of football.
As a reminder, the World Cup is scheduled to begin on June 11.
