Eldor Shomurodov, forward of the Uzbekistan national team and "Istanbul Bashakshehir" club, took first place as the most productive football player in the Turkish championship. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was reported by "Euro-football.ru". As of February 21, Eldor Shomurodov scored 20 points in the "goal+assist" system.

He scored 16 goals and provided 4 assists. These results allowed him to take first place in the tournament's top scorers list.

Shomurodov's results are also significantly higher compared to other star football players in the Turkish championship. For example, "Galatasaray" forward Mauro Icardi scored 13 goals in all matches, while Viktor Osimhen was limited to 9 goals in the national championship.

Also, it should be noted that the Uzbekistan national team, of which Eldor Shomurodov is a member, secured a spot in the 2026 World Cup to be held in North America. This became a historic event for the country's football.
