6 goalkeepers were included in the Russia national team squad

Russia national team goalkeepers coach Vitaliy Kafanov announced that five or six goalkeepers were included simultaneously in the extended squad of the national team. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was reported by euro-football.ru. According to the specialist, all candidates demonstrate stable performance and their level is almost the same.

Small details can be the decisive factor in the selection. Kafanov emphasized that sometimes good goalkeepers may remain outside the list.

It is worth noting that the Russia national team has not been able to participate in international competitions since February 2022. Due to this restriction, the team only plays in friendly matches.

The next friendly matches are scheduled for the end of next month.
