Russia national team is looking for opponents for spring games

The Russian national team is preparing for the spring training camp, but the list of opponents for friendly matches has not yet been officially announced. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Nevertheless, the first game is expected to be held against the Mali national team. Earlier, the Africans confirmed that an agreement was in place.

This information was reported by the euro-football.ru website. Additionally, the Russian Football Union has extended an invitation to the Honduras national team for a friendly match.

According to the Sport24 publication, this match was planned to take place at the end of March in Saint Petersburg. However, the Honduras Football Federation declined the offer.

Their decision was explained by prior arrangements made for the international break in March. Currently, the Honduras national team holds the 65th position in the FIFA rankings.

This situation could have made the opportunity to play against Russia even more interesting. At the same time, it is reported that the Russian Football Union continues negotiations with other potential opponents.
