Russia national football team is looking for opponents for friendly matches

Less than a month remains until the Russian national football team's spring training camp. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Nevertheless, the Russian Football Union (RFI) has not yet officially announced the list of opponents for the friendly matches. However, the first opponent is expected to be Mali.
The Africans have previously confirmed that an agreement has been reached in this regard. This information was reported by the euro-football.ru website.
Additionally, according to the Sport24 website, the RFI has approached the Honduras national team with an invitation for the second match. However, the Honduras Football Federation declined the offer to play a match in Saint Petersburg in March.
The reason given was that the team has other plans during the international break in March. According to data, the Honduras national team currently holds the 65th position in the FIFA rankings.
This situation indicates the need for the Russian Football Union to look for new opponents.
