Guardiola: The Champions League is a very tough tournament

"Manchester City's" head coach Josep Guardiola shared his thoughts on the high level of competition in the Champions League. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Euro-football.ru reported on this. The "Manchester City" team will face Madrid's "Real" club again in the Champions League Round of 16.

According to Guardiola, achieving success in the tournament is not easy. He said: "The Champions League is an extremely tough tournament.

Each team has its own unique strengths. If you want to go far in this competition, you have to defeat the strongest teams.

Otherwise, it means you are not worthy of this level." Last season, "Manchester City" was eliminated from the Champions League in the playoff stage after losing to "Real." This season, the two teams met in the group stage, where the English club won 2-1.

Guardiola emphasizes the need to prepare the team seriously ahead of this year's matches.
