Matvey Safonov considers billiards only as a hobby

Matvey Safonov, goalkeeper of the French club “PSG,” revealed that he is interested in playing Russian billiards in his free time. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was reported by the euro-football.ru website. According to it, his interest in billiards began during his time playing for the “Krasnodar” club.

There was a billiard table at the team’s base, and the players would play one or two games after training sessions. Safonov wrote on his Telegram channel that initially it started with simply going to a billiard hall near his home with friends.

Later, this activity became more serious, and he even bought his own cue. He also tried to practice billiards individually.

Nevertheless, over time Safonov said he gave up the intention to take billiards to a professional level. He preferred to keep this activity just as a hobby.

At the same time, he said that he deliberately stopped developing billiards because he sees this activity only as a means of relaxation.
