Football competitions stopped in Qatar due to armed conflicts

Due to armed conflicts in the region, all football competitions in Qatar have been temporarily suspended. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

In this regard, there have been reports that the Finalissima match, that is, the game between the national teams of Argentina and Spain, may be postponed to another date. This information was provided by the euro-football.ru website.

According to the famous journalist Gaston Edul, UEFA, CONMEBOL, and FIFA are currently closely monitoring the situation and are not planning to make an urgent decision at this time. Within a few days, these organizations are expected to make a decision regarding the Finalissima match together with the Qatari government.

The Argentina and Spain national teams are supposed to compete for the trophy on Friday, March 27. This match was planned to be held in Qatar.

The previous Finalissima was held in June 2022, where Argentina defeated Italy 3-0.
