Iran national team may be excluded from the World Cup

Due to the political situation in the Middle East, the likelihood of the Iran national team not participating in the World Cup is increasing. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The tournament is mainly planned to be held in the USA, and difficulties in obtaining visas for Iranians make this scenario even more plausible. This was reported by euro-football.ru.

Mehdi Toj, head of the Iran Football Federation, shared his thoughts on the situation. He said, "Regarding the World Cup and the USA's stance towards Iran, I am not very confident that we will be able to participate in the tournament.

However, I am not the one to make this decision." According to him, the situation is complicated and no definite decision has been made yet.

If the Iran national team cannot participate in the tournament, its place may be taken by the United Arab Emirates or the Iraq national team. This could be a significant change for Asian football.

It is necessary to monitor how the situation develops in the near future.
